Body work repairs.
Smart repairs ( Small / Medium Area Repair Techniques) are smart because they save
the customer money. Unfortunately not all body work damage lends itself to repair
by this method. Why have whole body panels repaired for a small scratch or scuff,
or have a bumper replaced for a small hole or split? By repairing only the damaged
area, and not re-spraying whole body panels, smart repair is the ideal solution for
minor damage to bumpers and wings etc. which don't require replacement.
At some point, most cars pick up minor damage. It's pretty much unavoidable. Dents and chips in paintwork can significantly decrease the value of a car in themselves, but worst of all, any kind of break in the paintwork will eventually lead to rust. The prevention of corrosion is in it's self a good enough reason to have damage of this sort seen too.
